Summer Is About Flexing, Not Forcing

Summer doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
There are patios and travel plans. Late nights and early sun. Kids home from school. Hot runs that feel harder than they should. This is usually when people decide they’re falling off.
But summer was never meant to be rigid.
Summer running is about adaptability. About choosing movement without demanding it look the same every week. Some runs will be short. Some will be skipped. Some will feel surprisingly good. Others will feel sticky and slow.
None of that means you’re losing fitness.
You’re learning how to stay consistent inside real life. That skill lasts longer than any perfect schedule ever will.
Summer doesn’t ask you to push harder.
It asks you to bend without breaking.
