Whether you’re improving your speed, aiming for longer races, or preparing for events like Around the Bay 2026 or upcoming marathons, this group gives you focused coaching, structure, and steady progress.

  • Anyone looking to sharpen their pace, train with intention, or build toward longer distances
  • Runners training for Around the Bay 2026
  • Marathon and half marathon runners building their base
  • Graduates of our Intermediate group or runners with a strong 8K plus base

 

Pace and Readiness

To join this group, your 5K race pace should be between 4:40 and 6:00 minutes per kilometer.

What to Expect
Over the 12 weeks, you’ll train with others who share your drive and goals. You’ll work through targeted sessions like fartleks, hill work, tempo runs, longer intervals, and endurance focused workouts.

Many runners in this group are building toward Around the Bay 2026, spring half marathons, or full marathon training cycles. Workouts will support those goals while still being adaptable to your current fitness.

Your training can be gentle or challenging depending on your day. Sessions meet you where you are and help you grow from there.

You’ll leave this program feeling stronger, more confident, and more connected to your running. Whether you have a race in mind or you’re exploring your potential, we’ll help you move toward the goals that inspire you.

How it works:
You’ll meet two to three days each week for workout-based runs like intervals, speed, and hills with others who share similar goals. On your third day (our “long run” day), you’ll focus on your personal distance goal. Most runners in this group aim to finish anything from a Half Marathon to a Full Marathon, but your plan is flexible based on your needs.

 

Runs are led by certified coaches who keep things fun, personal, and supportive. Outside of class, you'll have access to an online community where you can share progress, stay encouraged, and feel connected.

  • 12-week program | 3-4 days per week | 36-48 lessons | London, Ontario
     

Start Date: 

  • Monday, January 12,  2026  to Monday, April 6th, 2026.
     

Schedule:

  • Monday's 6:15 PM at Edgevalley Park (269 Edgevalley Rd)
  • Tuesday's (Bonus class) 6:15 PM at Gibbons Park (29 Victoria St)
  • Wednesday's 6:15 PM at Edgevalley Park (269 Edgevalley Rd) 
  • Saturday's: 8:30 AM at Springbank Gardens (205 Wonderland Rd S)
    *Many runners choose to add extra distance after the coached workout to meet their weekly distance goals. You can stay as long as you need to finish your plan for the day.

Classes are designed so no one is left behind. You’ll always have support at every stage 

 

The Fine Print:

  • Please consult your physician or health care provider before starting any fitness program to ensure it’s right for you. 
  • Classes will take place rain, snow, or shine, unless there is a severe weather warning or unsafe road conditions. 
  • Programs are non-transferable from season to season

 

Holiday Schedule 

  • Our final run will be on Easter Monday (April 6th) at 6:30 PM. All classes will be running together for our end of season graduation!
