Step by Step Group Running Program:
Whether you're completely new to running or just getting back into it, this program is designed to start you from the ground up—no prior experience needed. It’s the perfect way to ease into running and build confidence, stamina, and strength at your own pace.

Program Details
No prior experience is required to join this group. If you have running experience, your pace should be 6:50 minutes per kilometer or slower (e.g., 7:00, 7:10, 7:50). Don’t worry if you can’t run continuously—this program uses walk-to-run intervals to help you gradually build endurance. Unsure about your pace or where to start? What to Expect
As the program progresses, you’ll gradually increase your stamina with walk-to-run intervals, giving you the confidence to reach your running goals. Our goal is to help you achieve 5K distance, using intervals to get there at your pace.
How it works:
You’ll meet two days per week for workout-based runs (intervals) with others who have similar goals. On your third day (our “long run” day), you’ll focus on your personal distance goal. Ideally, the goal with this group is to finish at 5K, but results are flexible based on your goals and needs.
Runs are led by certified, hands-on coaches who keep it fun, personal, and supportive. Outside of class, you'll join a vibrant online community where you can share tips, celebrate progress, and stay motivated.

- 12-week program | 3 days per week | 36 lessons | London, Ontario
Start Date:
- Monday, September 22, 2025 to Saturday, December 13th, 2025.
Schedule:
- Monday's 6:15 to 7:00 PM at Edgevalley Park (269 Edgevalley Rd)
- Wednesday's 6:15 to 7:00 PM at Edgevalley Park (269 Edgevalley Rd)
- Saturday's: 9:00 AM at North London Athletic Fields
- Thursday Social: 6:30 PM at House Craft Burgers (640 Richmond Street) – Open to the public

The Fine Print:
