If you already have a solid running base and want to keep improving, Run Strong is where training gets more intentional.
This program is designed for runners who want to build stronger endurance, improve speed, and develop the kind of durability that supports longer distances. Some runners join to sharpen their pace, others are preparing for half marathons or marathons, and many simply enjoy the challenge of structured training with a motivated group.
Soul Runners is a welcoming running club in London, Ontario offering coached programs for runners who want to keep progressing, building strength, and exploring their potential.
There’s no pressure to compete or perform. The focus is simply on consistent, purposeful training that helps you become a stronger and more confident runner.
Who is this program for?
This program is a good fit if you:
• Have an established running base
• Can comfortably run 8K or more
• Want to build speed, endurance, and running strength
• Enjoy structured workouts and progressive training
• Are working toward half marathons, marathons, or longer distance goals
• Have completed our Run Steady program or have similar experience
Pace and Readiness
To join this group, your 5K race pace should typically fall between 4:40 and 6:00 per kilometer.

What to Expect
Run Strong focuses on developing a well-rounded runner through a mix of:
• speed workouts
• hill training
• tempo runs
• interval sessions
• endurance-focused training
These workouts help runners improve efficiency, build stamina, and become more confident running longer distances.
Some runners in this group are preparing for half marathons or marathons, while others simply enjoy the consistency and challenge of structured training.
Sessions can be adjusted depending on how you're feeling that day, allowing you to train in a way that supports steady progress over time.
How it Works
You’ll meet two to three days each week for coached runs with runners who share similar goals.
Early week sessions focus on workout-based training, including intervals, hills, tempo runs, and speed development.
Saturday runs are informal community long runs where runners build distance together. These runs may not always be led by a coach, but you’ll receive guidance on how to structure and progress your long runs each week.
Outside of the runs, you’ll also have access to the Soul Runners community, where members share progress, ask questions, and support each other along the way.
Runs are led by certified coaches who keep things supportive, challenging, and enjoyable.
