You've started running. Now it's time to build on that foundation.
 

The Soul Runners Novice Plus Program is designed for runners who are comfortable with run-walk intervals and are ready to work toward longer stretches of steady running.
 

Whether you're currently using intervals, running portions of your workouts continuously, or looking to build confidence before joining Run Steady, this program helps bridge the gap between learning to run and running more consistently.
 

Soul Runners is a welcoming running group in London, Ontario offering coached programs designed to help runners progress at their own pace.
 

There is no pressure to run continuously on day one. We build gradually, allowing your endurance, confidence, and consistency to develop over time.
 

Who is this program for?

This program is a great fit if you:

  • Can comfortably complete run-walk intervals
  • Are currently using intervals such as 5:1, 8:1, or 10:1
  • Can run portions of your workout continuously
  • Are working toward steadier running with fewer walk breaks
  • Want to build endurance and confidence before joining Run Steady

 

What to Expect

This program focuses on building endurance and confidence while increasing the amount of time spent running continuously.
 

Workouts may still include strategic walk breaks, but the overall goal is to help you gradually transition toward steadier running.
 

Over the 10 weeks, you'll continue building your aerobic fitness while developing the consistency needed for longer runs and future training goals.
 

The goal isn't speed. The goal is helping you become a stronger, more confident runner.
 

How it Works

You'll meet twice per week for coached runs alongside runners who are progressing beyond the beginner stage.
 

These sessions include a mix of interval-based and steady-running workouts designed to gradually build endurance, consistency, and confidence.
 

Each week also includes an optional Saturday community run focused on increasing time on your feet and building your running base.
 

Saturday runs are informal meet-ups and may not always be led by a coach, but you'll still receive guidance on how to progress each week.
 

Outside of the runs, you'll have access to the Soul Runners community, where members share progress, ask questions, and support one another along the way.
 

Runs are led by certified coaches who keep things fun, supportive, and approachable.
