Keto Clean Eating Zucchini Pasta
My partner Dan and I are on two completely different nutrition plans. He is on keto, I am focused on clean eating. Keto has a lot of restrictions so it's been a challenge finding something that works for both of us. This is one of our favorite recipes so far. Please note that the macros shown is for the clean eating version. The sauce is what makes the difference in clean eating vs keto.
✔️400 grams of lean ground beef ✔️1 tbsp coconut oil ✔️One large onion chopped ✔️One package (340 grams) of zucchini noodles ✔️Half a jar of Farm Boy home-style pasta sauce (substitute Loblaws Kale tomato basil original pasta sauce by Organico Bello for keto friendly version)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place zucchini noodles in casserole dish. Melt coconut oil in pan. Cook ground beef and onion. Once beef is brown, pour mixture on-top of noodles. Add the pasta sauce. Bake for 10 minutes or until noodles are warm
Dan topped his with Parm cheese (keto). I topped mine with a sprinkle of garlic salt (clean).
